New Patients

If you are interested in joining our practice, there are a few steps that you must complete first.  If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact Michelle Cunniff, our New Patient Advocate.

  • Effective July 2019, no new patient will be registered with our practice without eligible insurance AND complete medical records having been received by our office.
  • Confirm that our office has a contract with your current insurance carrier.  Please note that we do not accept any new patients with Masshealth insurance products.
  • Call your insurance and have your child's PCP changed to one of our doctors.  We will need to confirm this eligibility prior to any appointment being scheduled.
  • Provide us with your child's' complete previous medical & immunization records.  Records should include documentation from your child's newborn hospital discharge, growth charts, vaccines, office visits with any previous healthcare providers, and consult notes from any specialty providers.
  • On the day of your child's visit, be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early to review pre-visit paperwork.  Please bring your child's insurance card so that we can scan it for our records.

Prenatal Consult Visits

To schedule a prenatal visit you may contact our New Patient Advocate, Michelle Cunniff (well appointments may also help you if Michelle is unavailable). She has a multitude of information to offer you, such as which pediatrician may best suit you and your child or how to schedule an appointment. She can also send you out a packet of information, detailing how our office works. When you come in for your scheduled prenatal appointment (this visit is free of charge), Michelle will show you around the office, and then leave you with a pediatrician who will be able to answer any questions you may have about your child's care.

Newborn Appointments

If you are expecting a newborn, the hospital will ask who you have chosen to be your child's primary care physician.  On the day your baby is discharged from the hospital, call our office to set up a newborn appointment. We like to see new little ones two days after discharge.
