Integrated Behavioral Health

Behavioral health support inside your child’s medical home, at both offices.

What We Do

Support that sits alongside your child's regular care

Behavioral health is part of your child’s overall care here. Our behavioral health team works alongside the clinical team at both the Woburn and North Andover offices.

Your child’s primary care provider is the first step. They know your child, and they can tell you whether what you are seeing is something we can help with here or something better served elsewhere.

Our trained staff is here to support you

Behavioral Health Coordinators

Working directly with your child’s primary care provider, our coordinators help you navigate what is available — both inside our offices and in the community.

Integrated Behavioral Health Clinicians

Our clinical team includes Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers.  They offer short-term, individual counseling for children and adolescents, and parent-focused counseling for families.

They work across a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns and much of that involves building strategies that hole up at home.  Example of common patient and family challenges treated in Integrated Behavioral Health Include:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • ADHD
  • Adjustment Disorder
  • School Problems
  • Behavioral Management
  • Life transitions

What this service is, and isn’t

Our providers meet with children and parents for brief consultations and short-term, behavior-driven work. They do not provide long-term therapy. If your child needs that, they will help you find it and make the referral.

We are always willing to talk through whether our services are the right fit before you commit to anything.

A note on billing. Behavioral health visits here are processed as a mental health benefit, not a medical one, so the cost may differ from your usual visits and could involve a copay or deductible. It is worth checking your mental health coverage before you start.
