Some children need more appointments, more specialists, and more coordination than the standard schedule allows for. We build that around them rather than expecting families to fit a template.
Whether your child has a chronic condition, a developmental difference, a complex medical history, or a diagnosis you’re still working towards, their primary care provider stays the constant — the person who knows the whole picture while specialists each see their part of it.
What this looks like in practice
- Longer or more frequent visits where they’re needed, rather than squeezing a complex conversation into a standard slot
- Coordination between specialists, so your child’s history travels with them and you’re not repeating it at every appointment
- Developmental screening and referral when something needs a closer look
- Help with school documentation — forms, letters, and the paperwork that supports an IEP or 504 plan
- Behavioral health support within the practice, and referral onwards when more is needed
Working with specialists

Behavioral and developmental support
Our Integrated Behavioral Health team works alongside your child’s provider for shorter-term support. Where a fuller assessment is needed, Woburn Pediatric Psychological Services offers neuropsychological consultation on referral.
Tell us what helps
If your child finds waiting difficult, needs a quieter room, does better at a particular time of day, or has a routine that makes visits go more smoothly — tell us when you book. We would much rather know in advance than work it out on the day.
